today was a pretty emotional day...all the appeal cases and stuff. i felt really glad for the happy faces i saw outside the general office...even those belonging to strangers. one of the ecstatic ones was kristine..she was really jumping around and calling her mum to tell her she got in =D i'm so happy for you! another elated one was tim yam...he was practically flying into RJ and hugging everyone...hahaha. and he was sweating like mad so after he hugged charles charles was like 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek'. and zul had a very unique victory celebration..junyi used a blue chalk to write on his pants 'i got into RJ', and wrote on the back of his pants 'kiss my ass VJ'. haha so crude -_-

yet, in the other corners were people anxiously waiting for their results...some of whom had already received their results, thus their crestfallen faces. sigh...sometimes u reap what you sow...and even if the appeals didn't rectify the injustice posting has done ande justify the amount of effort u put in for the o's, this isn't the end! my cousin told me that the A levels were the REALLY important ones...and they're the ones employers look at. remember mr hodge told the RI people that ALL the JCs in singapore provide an excellent A level eduction, so maybe people want to stay in RJ just because of the prestige and the familiar faces. well u can always make new friends in other JCs(expanding your social circle) and work really hard in JC to prove that RJ should have accepted you! All the best to everyone in their new environments...and if you didn't work hard enough for the o's...take this as a harsh lesson and learn it well?

o2, as expected was a flop..i think the main reason why the outcome was so appalling was that the J1s had no authority..and being the rebellious teens that we are...we are undaunted by their efforts to make us cheer and play games. i admit i was also really bored and 'sian', but i think what we did really hurt the OGLs..i think they really put in a lot of effort to try and make this event a success, and maybe due to little experience and time constraints, it wasn't as great as the first orientation. but put yourself in an OGL's shoe...you put in so much effort to organize
this event and everyone starts skipping school and going to the canteen for ridiculously long breaks.....how would you feel? i think i've been too insensitive...and i think on the surface the OGLs seem ok...but if i were them i'd be very sad.

i'm staying in 1SO3E! i dunoo why they used our IDs instead of our names this time...maybe they didn't want us to check who was in the same class as us -_-. now my class has 5 girls...cus i know 2 girls didn't make it, and 1 is changing class. celeste, one of those who didn't make it...got 7-3 points. and she didn't make it..thats totally crap...im so sad for her >=[

and we played st gabriel's secondary today...the j1s only, and lost 3-2, which was really quite a respectable score, seeing how their possession was >65%? hahah. our first goal was when damian sent a long ball to joshua then he just outran the fullback and SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEED, then the other was in the 2nd half when yehmin (of all people) sent a long ball to rayner then rayner RAN AND LOBBED OVER THE KEEPERRRRRRRR! i shall not talk about how we conceded the goals :D and today i think we were quite hyped up cus we were called to play for the people who didn't make it..noticeably Leo...sigh..im gona miss his nonsense. he's really a great player :(
